The South Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault (SCCADVASA)

Who We Are

A statewide membership coalition formed in 1981 consisting of all the domestic violence shelters and rape crisis centers in South Carolina to represent the critical needs of victims/survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. We provide technical assistance in the development and expansion of resources and services, offer statistics and references to inform on sexual assault and domestic violence topics, to include a resource library of over 1400 books, journals, brochures and videos. SCCADVASA also provides trainings to elected officials, law enforcement, criminal justice programs, health care and social service professionals, as well as mental health agencies. Consultation and information to victims/survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault is also available.

Our services and referrals are available to all who need and seek them. Any survivor and/or victim of domestic violence or sexual assault is eligible.
