Who We Are
The Door’s Legal Services Center provides direct civil legal services to young people ages 12 – 24. We serve clients in all civil areas including family law, public benefits, immigration, housing, consumer education and civil rights.

- Eligibility Restrictions
- To access The Door’s services, you must become a member. It’s easy, free and completely confidential. No appointment, forms or paperwork are needed.
The membership process is easy. There is no fee to join, or requirements to become a member. To start, you will have a brief interview with an intake counselor to talk about yourself and your interests, and to learn about all of The Door’s Programs & Services. After the interview, your intake counselor will help you sign up for any of the services you want or need.

- Description of Services
- The Door’s Legal Services Center provides advice and legal representation for any civil need. In particular, we are experts in representing immigrant youth.
We can also provide legal referrals and wraparound social services, including career training, health care, crisis intervention, educational resources, and access to recreation and the creative arts.
- Emergency Instructions
- What is an Emergency? Imminent removal of children by the Administration for Children’s Services, clients facing deportation within a week, imminent danger of losing housing or public benefits, serious physical danger.
