Who We Are

Student Advocacy helps families resolve school problems including academic failure, Special Education problems, disciplinary problems and problems getting in or returning to school. Student Advocacy is a legally-based organization. All advocates are attorneys or former teachers; all are supervised by the Legal Director. Improved educational services are obtained for 95% of the children whose cases we complete.

If our staff determines that we need to review the child’s school records in order to provide advice and/or represent the child, we attempt to provide these services under our grants or contracts so that there is no cost to the family.
