- The Relicensing Program is for people whose driving privileges are currently suspended third degree for failing to pay traffic fines in the City of Spokane, County of Spokane, Pend Oreille County, Medical Lake, Airway Heights and Cheney. This cooperative program will provide several very important opportunities:
Opportunity for you to help develop a personalized plan to become a licensed and insured driver
Opportunity to waive your collection fees to help with the reinstatement of your driving privileges
Opportunity to combine all traffic offense fine payments from participating jurisdictions into a manageable monthly amount
Opportunity to have all participating jurisdictions release the holds on your driving privileges based upon your successful progress in completing the program.

- First Visit: Apply for Program & Determine Your Eligibility
Come into the Relicensing Program office (located in the Spokane City Prosecuting Attorneys Office at 909 W. Mallon) for an evaluation during our regular business hours. The Relicensing Program is open every morning (M-F) at 9 a.m. – We will help the first 26 people signed in. On Mondays and Wednesdays, the Program opens again at 1 p.m. – We will help the first 26 people signed in. The Relicensing Program is closed Tuesday, Thursday, Friday afternoons and on all holidays and weekends.
In order to be helped, you will need to sign in on the sign-in sheet located at the front window in the lobby. You will be asked to complete one form, a financial sheet (PDF 57 KB). You will need to download, complete the information requested and bring it with you to apply.
Second Visit: Payment of Fee
At your second visit there will be a non-refundable administrative fee due of $100. Payments on your fines will be determined by your income. As long as you fulfill your obligations under the reinstatement plan, we will do everything we can to help you get your driving privileges back. Your success in this program will depend on your active participation. The maximum total length of the program can be in excess of four months.
