Who We Are
SVLAS provides free legal services in civil cases to the low-income residents of southwestern Virginia. We have three offices but all applications are taken through our centralized intake unit. The toll-free number for the intake unit is 1-888-201-2772. The intake unit accepts applications Monday through Friday. You may also apply online at http://www.svlas.org.

- If your gross household income is less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, we may be able to help you by considering your household expenses. We will also have to determine if your assets are below our asset guidelines.
SVLAS never charges attorney fees – but clients must pay any filing fees or court costs.
