Smith County Courthouse – Law Library- Self Help Center

Hours of Operation

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

The library is open to the public during business hours.  No appointment is necessary.  The Smith County Law Library is a reference library only.  No books can be checked out.

Services Provided

The Smith County Law Library cannot assist patrons with filling out legal forms, but the library does have some types of forms available for pro se litigants.  The library does not have an attorney on staff and therefore cannot review pleadings, give legal advice, or research a case.
