Oahu Access to Justice Room
Who We Are
The Access to Justice Room is staffed by volunteer attorneys and AmeriCorps Advocates. The attorney provides free, short-term legal services and legal advice to people who need legal help. All sessions are limited to a certain amount of time, and information shared is confidential and only disclosed to the attorney and AmeriCorps Advocate present. The volunteer attorney does not represent a person after their time spent in The Access to Justice Room is over.
How to Get Help
To speak to an attorney you must sign in at the Honolulu District Court Service Center first, which is located next to the Access to Justice Room on the 3rd floor of District Court. Walk-ins are seen on a first come first serve basis. No appointments. Each session is limited to 30 minutes.
The Access to Justice Room is staffed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00am – 1:00pm.
