Who We Are

The Oxford office serves Benton, Calhoun, DeSoto, Grenada, Lafayette, Marshall, Panola, Tate and Yalobusha Counties. It is staffed with lawyers, paralegals and other support staff who are available to address problems which may occur in its service area or to make appropriate referrals. All applicants must meet the financial eligibility guidelines provided by NMRLS. We handle only civil cases. We do not accept criminal cases or fee-generating cases.

Area(s): Benton County, Calhoun County, DeSoto County, Grenada County, Lafayette County, Marshall County, Panola County, Tate County, Yalobusha County
Income Guidelines
Asset limitation, citizenship determination or eligibility under another funding sources i.e.
COA(60 or above), Housing Counseling, IRS, Domestic Violence, or HUD.If a client is 60 or above (COA) he/she does not have to meet any income eligibility requirements.

No fees are charged for services provided by the program. Clients are asked to pay for the costs
of their case such as court filing fees, witness fees and other expenses incurred in the case.

Your family’s income should be at or below the following percentage of the federal poverty level

What is an Emergency? Cases where the applicant is a victim of domestic violence or faces imminent and permanent loss
of property, children, or right to vital benefits which could be forestalled or temporarily delayed
