New York State Access to Justice Program – Attorney-of-the-day Program for Uncontested Divorces in Westchester County
Who We Are
The New York State Court system has established the Volunteer Attorney Program as a free service designed to ensure that people have access to competent legal information to guide them as they represent themselves. Under the supervision of court staff, volunteer attorneys spend a few hours each week at Westchester County Supreme Court to provide legal information and to help people with the preparation of uncontested divorce forms. Volunteer lawyers do not represent the litigants in court or file papers on their behalf.
