Who We Are

Nassau Suffolk Law Services is a non-profit,public interest law firm that provides free legal assistance in civil matters to low-income and disabled Long Islanders.

The Welfare Unit assists with public benefits access and disputes involving the Department of Social Services. These areas include food stamps, cash assistance, Medicaid, HEAP, and emergency services.
