Who We Are

Nassau Suffolk Law Services is a non-profit, public interest law firm that provides free legal assistance in civil matters to low income and disabled Long Islanders. The independent consumer advocacy network (ICAN) provides education, information and advocacy regarding long term managed care. It assists participants in New York State Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) Fully Integrated Duals Advantage (FIDA), and Long Term Support Services (LTSS) and Mainstream Managed Care (MMC) programs. Services include education, information, and advice to participants, caregivers, and their advocates, navigational assistance and coordination, advocacy and legal representation, and community trainings.
