Who We Are
Military Assitance Project provides free legal services to veterans, current military personnel, and their spouses facing financial crisis. Staff and volunteers work with clients eligible for bankruptcy on the preparation/filing of the petition and provide other services as necessary in connection with representation. In addition, individuals with back-tax issues are helped through this Division’s volunteer accountants and IRS Enrolled Agents.

- PLEASE NOTE: GENERALLY, Military Assistance Project IS ONLY ABLE TO PROVIDE BANKRUPTCY SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS LIVING IN PENNSYLVANIA, NEW JERSEY, AND DELAWARE. If you live outside their geographic scope of practice, you can still contact them, but know that they will probably have to refer you to another organization or attorney to provide you legal counsel.

Proof of market value if the debtor owns a house/other property
