Information
Since the storm, Make the Road New York has been delivering food to affected families, helping families with federal assistance applications in English and Spanish, and opening our offices as warm places to come for supplies, information, and hot coffee, especially to those without power in Staten Island and Long Island.

For Spanish-speaking and immigrant New Yorkers, it is particularly difficult to access emergency response services, so our expert legal team is on call to connect people to services and make sure that language access and immigration status do not prevent anyone from getting the shelter, supplies and help they need.
