Who We Are
LowCountry Legal Aid engages community volunteers and retired attorneys in providing free advice, education and legal representation to low-income families in Beaufort, Jasper and Hampton Counties.

- Beaufort, Jasper and Hampton Counties Income Guidelines: We serve families earing less than 200% of federal poverty levels. Access for the deaf: as needed.

- Income Guidelines
- Individuals are also required to meet our asset eligibility. Individuals can have no more than $3000 in liquid assets to qualify. However, individuals are allowed equity in their homes and vehicles and may still qualify.
Exceptions can be made in limited circumstances.
Clients are responsible for all fees incurred in his/her representation.
