Legal Aid At Work

Legal Aid At Work advances justice and economic opportunity for poor and low-income people and their families at work, in school, and in the community. Legal Aid provides counsel & advice and limited representation for people experiencing discrimination and/or denial of accommodations at work, unlawful termination, incorrect denial of unemployment insurance, wage theft, and other issues related to employment or access to education or public facilities. We offer several helplines, Workers’ Rights Clinics, Wage Claim Clinics, and the Workers’ Rights Disability Law Clinic. Legal Aid accepts major cases for litigation on behalf of individuals or classes on a case-by-case basis.
