Who We Are

Ku’ikahi Mediation Center provides a variety of dispute prevention and resolution services to our East Hawaii community. We help individuals, families, organizations, businesses, schools, and others to find creative solutions to challenging situations.

Mediation is an informal, confidential process in which a neutral third party – the mediator – helps people: 1) talk through their differences, 2) explore and negotiate options, and 3) craft agreements that are fair, realistic, and durable.

How to Get Help

You can contact this organization by walk-in (Located at The Hilo Lagoon Centre across from Hale Kaulike – the Hilo Judiciary Complex. We are on the Penthouse Floor in Suite PH 1014 B-2) or phone Monday-Friday from 9:00am – 4:30pm.

Both sign language and foreign language interpreter services are available with advance notice.

Income Guidelines

No income requirements.
The Mediation fee is based on a sliding scale based on annual household income. For those with financial hardships, fees are either reduced or waived entirely. No one is turned away for lack of funds.
