Program Description

Se habla español en la oficina de HIAS.

HIAS operates a unique program called Prins, which provides representation for scientists, scholars, professionals and artists and their families, who were persecuted in their native country. These can be affirmative or defensive asylum applications.

HIAS also represents children and families fleeing harm in Central America, including unaccompanied and accompanied children.

HIAS seeks humanitarian protection solutions including asylum, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, and U and T visas, in both affirmative and defensive postures, for these individuals.
