We hold immigration legal clinics three times per month in locations throughout the DC-Baltimore area. The clinics provide an opportunity for immigrants who have questions about their statuses or potential cases to receive a free consultation with an experienced immigration attorney. The clinics are run by volunteers from the neighborhood and hosting churches, who work together to provide hospitality, food and beverages, and a sense of welcome. Volunteers conduct basic intakes, and then each attendee has a private consultation with the attorney. The attorney will analyze the case with the client, and review any potential options for relief. Based on a variety of factors, the attorney may be able to take the case on for representation, may decide the client is better served by a referral, or may explain why there are no options for relief.
Clinics are held in churches in four locations: Baltimore, MD; Hyattsville, MD; Gaithersburg, MD; and Northwest Washington, DC. Potential clients who wish to attend a clinic must make an appointment; the clinics are not walk-in. In order to make an appointment, please call: (240) 825-4424 and leave a voicemail.
