Who We Are
The Hudson Valley Justice Center provides free, high quality legal counsel in civil matters where basic human needs are at stake.
Hudson Valley Justice Center serves poor and low-income immigrants who cannot afford an attorney, regardless of immigration status.
The office handles individual, class action, and other impact cases, and partners with others to promote meaningful access to the American system of justice for all people regardless of their economic or social condition.
How to Get Help
At this time, remote services are being provided in a broad range of civil legal practice areas. We are also prepared to accept cases for full representation in emergency housing matters and essential family law matters.

- We provide legal assistance in a broad range of issue areas affecting low-income and immigrant communities. HVJC prioritizes legal assistance to groups and matters which have the potential to benefit multiple people.

- For emergency assistance, call 914-308-3490 and follow the instructions. If no one answers, leave a message. We are a small office, and there are days when all attorneys are in court. But if you leave a message an attorney will return your call as soon as possible. However, callers should keep in mind that no representation is guaranteed until a retainer agreement is fully executed.
