Who We Are
Her Justice provides free legal help in family law, divorce and immigration to low-income women living in New York City. Her Justice partners with New York City’s top law firms to provide free legal representation to women who cannot afford a lawyer for their Family Court, divorce or immigration case. These pro bono lawyers from the City’s top law firms are supported by Her Justice lawyers throughout the duration of the case.

Eligible clients will receive a legal consultation from a Her Justice staff attorney.

- You must be a woman who is a resident of Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens, or Staten Island. To be helped at the Queens, Brooklyn, or Bronx Family Justice Centers, you must live in the borough and be a survivor or victim of domestic violence.

- What is an Emergency? Women who have been served with divorce papers or have a scheduled court appearance before the Thursday intake may call any day of the week between 9:30am and 5:30pm for advice and brief services.
