The Family Circle of Support offers assistance to AIDS-affected parents so they can plan for the future care and custody of their children and avoid placement into the foster care system. The program features a specialized social and legal services team who work with parents terminally ill with AIDS to help them create a permanency plan for thir children, including the recruitment of prospective adoptive parents, guardians or custodians for those orphans whose kin are unable to raise them. Can also conduct intake in client’s home or hospital as needed. Intake also conducted by phone at 212-475-0222. Intake also conducted by mail – address the letter to Joann Buttaro. Referrals are also accepted from social services and multi services agencies by fax at 212-714-2838.
