Who We Are

The Refugee Assistance Program recruits, trains, supervises and mentors volunteer attorneys who represent individuals seeking asylum in immigration court and at the asylum office.

How to Get Help

At this time we are offering remote services. Please call (212) 382-6710. Intakes are usually scheduled at least two to four weeks in advance.

We can also represent clients who live near enough to commute to frequent attorney/client meetings in New York City.

Can provide interpreters for approximately 20 different languages.
Income Guidelines
Clients must be unable to afford a private attorney.

Clients are responsible for filing fees which are generally not applicable until post-asylum.
