Description

The Center for Law and Education (CLE) is a resource, advocacy and support organization committed to assisting low-income students, their families, advocates and educators work with their communities to help fulfill every student’s right to high-quality education. CLE strives to implement key federal and state education programs (e.g., Title I, special education, career technical education) to improve educational opportunities and outcomes for all students through school-based collaboration, legislative and administrative advocacy, legal assistance, co-counseling and impact litigation, as needed.

CLE’s MA based office provides statewide advocacy and support grounded in law, policy and research, to legal services program attorneys and volunteer lawyers representing low-income students in education law related matters, and targets systemic violations that disproportionately affect students based on race, ethnicity, language status, disability, or gender.
