Who We Are
Voluntary Legal Services Program (VLSP) is a nonprofit, legal aid organization with the mission of using volunteer attorneys and other legal professionals to assist low income residents of Sacramento, Yolo, San Joaquin, El Dorado and Placer counties with a variety of legal matters.
The areas of law with assistance provided are: debt collection defense and Chapter 7 bankruptcy, employment law (discrimination, harassment, denial of unemployment insurance, wage and hour issues), criminal records expungement, driver’s license reinstatement, basic estate planning, guardianships of the person, and small probate matters.
