Who We Are
BronxWorks’ immigration services office has an attorney and immigration specialists dedicated to providing foreign-born people with legal advice and application assistance.
- Help with filing and processing Immigrant Visa Applications
- Assistance with renewing Employment Authorization Cards, Green Cards, and Temporary Protected Status
- Assistance with filing Naturalization and Citizenship applications
- Assistance with processing Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) applications
- Legal representation before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Immigration Court
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes
- Civics classes
- Counseling on resources for housing, financial, and health needs

- Full Legal Representation
- Brief Advice
- Description of Services
- We provide legal advice about the effects of criminal convictions, but will not represent on removal hearings based on criminal history. Nevertheless, we may provide legal representation on removal cases based on overstay, illegal entry or denied adjustment.
We will not take on cases for asylum before the Immigration Court, however we will provide counseling and adjustment of status.
We also help with the filing of Naturalization applications (N-400), Citizenship petitions (N-600), Adjustment of Status applications (I-485), Affidavits of Support (I-864), Work Authorization Cards (I-765), and other related applications.
We rarely take VAWA Self-Petition cases, however we will provide referrals.
We do not not handle employment petitions.
