How to Receive Services (Intake)
The Resource Center provides services in person on a first-come, first-served basis. Services provided and office hours vary by location. Due to the heavy demand for our services, it is advisable to visit our resource center locations as early as possible if you wish to have your forms reviewed by our staff. Forms are not reviewed by phone and are not reviewed by email submission.
Contacting the Self Help Resource Center by Phone: You may also call us for general information, however we do not review forms over the phone. Our phone hours are Monday – Thursday from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.

The Resource Center staff of attorneys, paralegals and self help assistants can review your documents and answer your questions. They do not fill out the forms for you. You are your own lawyer.
The Resource Center’s job is to help you have your best possible day in court. The Resource Center staff does not represent any person. No attorney-client relationship is formed with our staff. The Resource Center provides neutral information to both sides of the case. The Resource Center cannot represent you in court.
All services are provided for free, on a first-come, first-served basis. The Resource Center’s only requirement for providing services is that you don’t have an attorney. Due to the heavy demand for our services, it is advisable to visit Resource Centers at least an hour before closing if you wish to have your legal forms reviewed by staff.
