Who We Are
The Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center (APALRC) provides linguistically accessible and culturally appropriate free legal services to low-income Asian Americans with limited-English proficiency in DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia.
APALRC has a multilingual staff who provides a range of legal services in the areas of abuse prevention, family, immigration, housing, community development, consumer and employment law.
The office is located on K Street between 16th and 17th Streets, NW, close to the Farragut North and Farragut West metro stations.

- The organization also offers interpreters for speakers of Indonesian. The organization provides interpreters free of charge and through its Legal Interpreter Program (LIP).

- – Full Legal Representation: Domestic Violence/VAWA, family, housing, immigration, language access.
– Brief Advice: Provide brief service and information over the phone or in person.
– Legal Clinic: Currently holding weekly clinics on Wednesday afternoons from 1 to 6 to provide assistance on application for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.
– Self-Help Materials: Materials on VAWA, U Visa, Employment, available upon request.
– Workshops, referrals to other attorneys, etc.
