Advocates for Justice and Education (AJE), a non-profit organization founded in 1996, provides free legal assistance, advocacy, training, and support to DC families in addressing educational issues, specifically in the areas of special education, school discipline/exclusion, residency and other educational matters.

Income Guidelines

AJE services are available to all DC residents. We focus on serving families who are experiencing poverty and in underserved communities, and for extended legal services in school discipline matters there are income eligibility requirements- gross monthly household income must not exceed 300% of the federal poverty level.
