The Kinship Care Solutions Project provides free legal representation through volunteer attorneys in Non-Parent Custody (also known as third party custody) cases for the petitioner in eligible cases in King County.

Eligibility Restrictions

The program represents the petitioner, not parents. The program does not accept cases where a child has been removed from the caregiver by CPS or cases where there is an open dependency unless all parties agree.
